Ami is mostly confused by Mina, since she can't quite account for her presence yet and is more than anything thoroughly lost about what to do about Sailor V, and if it's even worth trying to have a timeline anymore.

But from what she's seen, Mina and Usagi get along far, far too well, and it scares her deep inside.

Howzabout Usagi and Makoto?

Though I think I get her feelings on Makoto very well.

Ami has BASICALLY the same attitude toward fuckcanon!Usagi as mini!Usagi (Great friend, leader of the Senshi, total ditz, needs to be persistently mothered but very grateful to have her around, and somewhat protective when she gets the breathing room to be), but she remembers what Makoto and Ami said, and she keeps remembering the question Makoto asked about still having Usagi and the others with them. There's a faint hint of mistrust, of a distance she has every intention of keeping from Usagi.

The same one she planned on keeping from Makoto. She definitely understands her alternate's taste in girlfriends, and has a bizarre mix of admiration and apprehension similar to the way she regards her own fuckcanon self, but she's gotten actually worried recently with this kissing booth stuff, and has been pushed to their point where she is willing to humor Usagi and Mina's plans.

Ami is very happy to have Grif around, and views him as something of an older brother/mentor figure!

She's very happy to have a mentor who she can trust without hesitation, since everyone else has some combination of unreliability and awkwardness in her mind. She thinks he gets a little TOO concerned, sometimes, and she really wishes everyone would lay off poor Luna who is just doing her absolute best ._. but mostly is just grateful to have someone she can trust and look up to and go to about Hero Issues. (She's really not sure he's the best person to go to about girl trouble, but her options are limited there...)

She was also terrified when he got kidnapped, because he's supposed to be the Badass one.

Well, Grif's still often of the opinion that either Luna's holding out on them, or something else whack is going on there, 'cause talking cats who only know just enough to only be particularly useful in the nick of time is an inherently suspect situation to him. He's happy to be a big brother sort and help out, though...

But on the other hand, yes, girl trouble's entirely not his bag in any form (well, okay, technically, it might be supposed that he had to give his sister some form of The Talk, when she reached that age, but we can all hope that that conversation is handled just fine by Ami's parents and/or school), and hopefully she never actually uses the term "Hero Issues," because he really doesn't like the idea of being considered a Hero[tm].

Ami is very happy to have a friend in May, and any friend anywhere along the geek spectrum, considering that her current Companions of Justice... Well, half of them are Usagi.

She's also very grateful for the therapy session, and hopes to be able to repay her soon.

She admires May for being a fellow hero, which comes with a certain amount of admiration for the sheer fact she's not dead or crazy yet, lacking as details are!

Ummm. Me? ^^;
[info]waterfell!Mercury. What does Ami think of this other self?

Sorry, I got curious as they've had more pleasant interactions lately, giving them enough to form more solid opinions.

Re: Ummm. Me? ^^;
So apparently 'tomorrow' means 'in like half a week' now sry bout that >_>

Ami thinks Mercury is actually, for a corrupted self, not the worst thing ever and really wishes she could help her more. She doesn't respect her choices, but she kind of respects her as a person.

But she's also kind of terrified that she'll end up like the other, MORE evil alternates she's met, and is very, very determined to not let this happen! After all, she feels a responsibility towards all of her other selves, especially the ones for whom she thinks she can do something.

Haa, don't worry about it. Thanks! :D

Little Ami's idealism twitches Merc in turn, believe me. They should get more chances to meet! I'm gone for a couple weeks after today, but sometime. ♥

(Speaking of which, I saw your ic-ish contact post. Been pondering dropping an IC line there sometime, on the basis that their respective communicators could be rigged to be able to contact each other.)

and only fair to do this in turn XD
Ami really twitches Merc, in a good way. She has all the things Merc has either lost or rejected about herself. In some ways, that's "fine" because Merc honestly believes that idealism and such just don't work (the idealistic path of 'trying to help Usagi control it' didn't work in PGSM canon and she learned about that). In other ways she wishes she still had that. Plus Ami knows all the things that are important to 'Ami' or 'Mercury', of course, so she has a way of putting things in the terms Merc can't ignore or walk away from.

She definitely appreciates Ami's brain, as with any alternate. And of course, like any alternate, Ami represents 'self'. She also knows as a 'self', Ami has GOT to have or understand the same feelings that pushed her (minus the outright corruption of course) and is a mix of frustrated/angry/jealous/aaalmost glad or relieved that it seems to be handled so differently.
